Just as there are many reasons to give to the Madison Memorial Hospital Foundation, there are also many ways to give. Gifts may be unrestricted or designated for a particular use. Unrestricted donations are used in the area of greatest need, providing Madison Memorial Hospital Foundation the flexibility to pursue development, improvement, and expansion of facilities and programs at Madison Memorial Hospital.

There may be no finer way to honor the memory of a loved one, recognize the compassionate care of a healthcare provider, or permanently associate your own name with Madison Memorial Hospital than through a naming opportunity.

The Madison Memorial Hospital expansion and remodeling project includes many new areas that will improve patient care. These spaces also represent opportunities for the hospital to formally and permanently recognize the generosity of its donors – those individuals and organizations whose support is helping Madison Memorial Hospital’s ability to offer the best healthcare in the Upper Valley of Southeast Idaho. Naming opportunities are important, not only because Madison Memorial Hospital believes that it is essential to acknowledge significant acts of generosity, but also because the hospital is an integral part of the Upper Valley of Southeast Idaho. Recognition of generous donors underscores the connection between this region and its hospital.

The expansion and remodeling project of Madison Memorial Hospital is in response to the growing needs of the local communities. In order to safeguard our reputation for medical excellence and address the healthcare needs of our rapidly increasing population, we must expand and remodel our facility.

Significant components of the project include:

  • New Surgery, Emergency Department, Radiology, Laboratory, and one-stop Diagnostic Center
  • New all private family-friendly patient rooms and ICU
  • Expanded Family Maternity Center with new family-friendly postpartum rooms and new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
  • Remodeled and expanded Wellness Center, which will be the home of Physical Therapy, Education, and Cardiac Rehabilitation
  • Remodeled medical office space for Madison Outpatient Specialty Clinic that will have space for visiting specialties
  • Remodeled and expanded kitchen and support areas

Many businesses sponsor matching gift programs wherein gifts made by employees to charitable organizations are doubled or even tripled. Your employer can tell you if they sponsor such a program and provide you with the proper form.

TRIBUTES

Celebrate special events such as anniversaries and birthdays with a Foundation gift in the honoree’s name. The Foundation notifies each individual honored with such a gift.

A LIVING MEMORIAL

Each year, more and more friends are finding Living Memorial Gifts to be a meaningful and lasting tribute to a friend or a loved one who has passed away.

In an effort to provide state of the art equipment for the hospital and to share the gift of health with others, the Madison Memorial Hospital Foundation offers opportunities for gifts with double significance. Each memorial gift conveys not only love and respect for a bereaved family, but also a desire to see the memory of a loved one live on through the vital work of Madison Memorial Hospital.

Through the thoughtfulness and concern expressed with a Living Memorial Gift, the hospital foundation will provide funds to the hospital for the purchase of equipment or to sponsor community health care services.

When your Living Memorial Gift is received, a beautiful card is promptly sent to the family of the person honored, telling them their loved one has been memorialized in this way.

To make a memorial gift by phone, please call Sharon Pirente at (208) 359-6478.

Please make your check payable to the Madison Memorial Hospital Foundation and send to PO Box 252, Rexburg, ID 83440. All contributions are tax-deductible as provided by the law and will be acknowledged. The amount of your gift is never disclosed.

The Madison Memorial Hospital Foundation is grateful for your concern shown by this meaningful gift.
