Abbie Nelson, PTA

Abbie began working as a Physical Therapy Tech at Therapy Services inside Madison Memorial Hospital in 2021 and later earned her Physical Therapist Assistant degree from BYU-Idaho in 2024. She has a special interest in assisting with orthopedic rehab, especially hip conditions.

Abbie’s love for physical therapy started long before school. After undergoing several surgeries to treat an acquired hip condition, she saw firsthand the difference that physical therapy made in her life. That experience sparked her desire to become a PTA.

A Ririe native, Abbie grew up playing basketball and spending her free time outdoors. Whether she’s at the lake, in the mountains, or off on a new travel adventure with friends and family, Abbie is always up for something active and fun.
