Surgery
Surgery
Madisonhealth provides a wide array of inpatient and outpatient surgery services to our community.
Outpatient surgery, also known as ambulatory surgery, does not require an overnight hospital stay. The purpose of this type of surgery is to lower healthcare costs and to save you valuable time. We invite you to understand our services, meet our exceptional physicians, and discover how we can best serve you. When you visit our surgery center you will benefit from two smart operating rooms that are forefront in the industry.
After your treatment in one of the operating rooms, you will recover and relax in a cozy and pleasant PACU, just seconds away from the operating room. In a short time, you will be on your way and living life as before. We feel honored to play a part in improving your health and overall state of happiness. We are proud of our low postoperative infection rate of less than 1%. We also have an amazing group of surgeons providing excellent care for our patients.
CORI
Our Smith & Nephew Cori technology features image-free smart mapping to build 3D models of
the joint in surgery (without the need for CT/MRI scans), real-time planning for personalized
surgery, handheld precision milling and intra-operative gap balancing.
Designed to be portable with a small OR footprint, the CORI Surgical System uses Real
Intelligence software to offer broad capabilities and an expanding range of joint reconstruction
indications, such as: total and partial knee surgery and revision knee surgery.
Intuitive Davinci XI
It’s fair to say that no one looks forward to surgery, but it may sometimes provide your best
option for care. If you and your doctor feel that surgery is right for you, you can explore the
different ways doctors can perform the surgery you need.
Traditional open surgery, where a surgeon operates with handheld instruments through a large
cut (incision), may be the first method that comes to mind. However, you could also be a
candidate for a less invasive approach requiring just a few small cuts, called minimally invasive
surgery. Minimally invasive surgery includes laparoscopic surgery and robotic-assisted surgery.
Medical procedures have evolved greatly through the years, from open surgery and
laparoscopy to robotic surgery. The Davinci robot helps surgeons care for their patients
effectively with as little trauma and downtime as possible. The Davinci XI has articulating
wristed instruments that allows your surgeon better dexterity than the human wrist allows.
Your surgeon can view the surgery in 3D vision using the robot.
Medtronic Stealth
The StealthStation™ ENT is a navigation system for your most basic to your most complex
cases. It is built on decades of scientific, clinical, and engineering research. The
StealthStation™ ENT provides a minimally invasive approach to navigate the sinus system. This
allows your surgeon to know exactly the areas of your sinus that needs treatment.
Hologic Breast Seed Localizer
The LOCalizer wire-free guidance system is designed to mark and guide to non-palpable
breast lesions using a miniature radiofrequency identification (RFID) Tag. Each Tag has a
unique identification number that is displayed on the reader and can be placed in the breast
prior to or on the day of surgery. We want your surgery experience to flow smoothly with the
least amount of stress as possible.
