Travis Roy Torngren, MD

Travis Torngren, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon at Upper Valley Orthopedics, a Madisonhealth clinic. He specializes in robotic-assisted knee replacement, minimally invasive hip surgery, adult hip and knee reconstruction, and shoulder and elbow surgery.

With fellowship training in both adult hip and knee reconstruction and shoulder and elbow surgery, Dr. Torngren brings an uncommon breadth of specialized expertise to his practice. He offers advanced surgical options focused on relieving pain, restoring mobility, and helping patients return to the activities that matter most to them.

Dr. Torngren completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Tennessee-Campbell Clinic, followed by fellowships in adult hip and knee reconstruction and shoulder and elbow surgery. An Idaho Falls native, he earned his medical degree from the University of Nevada, Reno, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He has practiced at Upper Valley Orthopedics since 2014.

Outside of work, Dr. Torngren enjoys spending time with his wife and children, hunting, and being outdoors.
