AJ Armstrong, OTR/L

AJ received his Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Idaho State University in Pocatello. Before that, he earned a Bachelor’s in Communications from BYU-Idaho. AJ is a specialist in neurological and early intervention therapies. He is one of RSI’s in-house feeding and swallowing experts. He has found deep satisfaction in helping impart therapeutic value to others and enhance their participation in daily activities.

AJ worked as a Spanish language interpreter for five years, during which time he found that he most enjoyed interpreting for Occupational Therapists, something that greatly influenced his career path. Unsurprisingly, today he is able to frequently use his Spanish fluency now that he is an Occupation Therapist himself. AJ comes from Ashton, Idaho – “born, bred, and potato fed,” as he puts it. He loves to take his family on adventures – sports, climbing, hiking, camping, and backpacking. He also loves woodworking.
