David Lee Day, PA-C

David L. Day, PA-C, has cared for patients in family medicine and urgent care since 1998. He enjoys building lasting relationships with the people he serves and working alongside patients to help them achieve their best possible health throughout every stage of life.

His clinical interests include general medicine, fracture care, joint injections and aspirations, soft-tissue injections, laceration repair, skin lesion removal and biopsy, wedge resections, nail removal, and surgical first assisting. He earned his medical training at Idaho State University and is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

For David, practicing in Rexburg is the fulfillment of a lifelong dream. Although he was born and raised in Utah, he frequently visited relatives in Rexburg while growing up. His grandmother worked as a nurse in one of the community’s earliest clinics, inspiring his desire to one day make Rexburg his home and contribute to healthcare in the area. After more than two decades of caring for local families, many of his longtime patients have also become friends.

David and his wife, Valerie, have four children and recently became grandparents. They enjoy spending time outdoors together, especially hiking, fishing, riding motorcycles, and snowmobiling. David feels privileged to have cared for so many wonderful people in the community and looks forward to continuing to serve their healthcare needs for years to come.
