Erin Benson, NP

Erin Benson is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in healthcare. She began her nursing career in 2004 and has since worked across a wide range of clinical settings. Her growing passion for long-term care and gerontology led her to complete her Master of Science in Nursing at Herzing University in 2024. She became licensed as a nurse practitioner in March 2025, certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

Erin currently provides care at several skilled nursing and assisted living facilities across southeast Idaho, including Temple View, Carriage Cove, Ashton Living Center, and Homestead Assisted Living, where she works closely with Dr. Packer and Dr. Clark. Her clinical focus includes geriatric assessments and chronic condition management, with an emphasis on high-quality, individualized care.

“Providing care that promotes independence, privacy, and dignity for patients in nursing facilities is incredibly important to me,” says Erin. Her years in nursing have instilled a strong belief in the power of effective communication and relationship-building to enhance patient outcomes and quality of life.

A lifelong resident of southeast Idaho, Erin is proud to serve the community she calls home. Along with her husband and kids, Erin enjoys the many outdoor recreational opportunities our beautiful community provides, including hiking, kayaking, and mountain biking.
