Dr. Jacob Nelson is a board-certified pediatrician with the American Board of Pediatrics who has been in practice since 2019. He earned his medical degree from Touro University Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his pediatric residency at UTMB in Galveston, Texas.
Dr. Nelson provides comprehensive general pediatric care, including well-child checks, sick visits, and newborn care. He has a special interest in lifestyle interventions and functional medicine, incorporating a whole-person approach to support long-term health and wellness for children.
His philosophy of care centers on listening with intention and compassion. Dr. Nelson believes that every patient and parent deserves to be heard and understood, fostering a collaborative partnership in each child’s healthcare journey.
Dr. Nelson has lived in Idaho for the past 2.5 years and loves calling it home. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, spending time outdoors, playing disc golf, and taking in the beautiful nature of Southeast Idaho.
