Jed Holbrook Erickson, DPM

Dr. Jed Erickson is a podiatric physician specializing in foot and ankle care. His interest in podiatry began while serving a mission for his church in the Philippines, where he witnessed firsthand the impact of complex congenital foot deformities and the lifelong disabilities they can cause. During that time, he worked alongside physicians on a medical mission providing reconstructive surgeries for clubfoot deformities, an experience that inspired him to pursue a career in medicine focused on improving mobility and quality of life through both conservative and surgical treatment of foot and ankle conditions.

Dr. Erickson completed his undergraduate studies at Weber State University and Brigham Young University–Idaho, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. He then attended the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University, where he earned his medical degree.

He completed a three-year surgical residency at Norton Healthcare in Louisville, Kentucky, receiving comprehensive training in reconstructive and traumatic surgery of the foot and ankle, pediatric injuries, and reconstructive procedures. During his training, he also developed extensive experience in limb salvage and wound care.

Following residency, Dr. Erickson returned to Idaho and practiced for several years with Rocky Mountain Foot and Ankle in Eagle and Caldwell. During this time, he also worked with the Advanced Wound Care Center at West Valley Medical Center in Caldwell, further expanding his expertise in wound care and limb preservation.

Dr. Erickson is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management, and the Idaho Podiatric Medical Association, where he currently serves as Treasurer.

Dr. Erickson and his wife both grew up in Eastern Idaho and graduated from Rigby High School, and they are excited to have the opportunity to work closer to home. He and his wife, Emily, have four children, and much of their free time is spent supporting and coaching their children’s sporting activities. Dr. Erickson also enjoys playing sports himself and continues to compete in rodeo team roping.
