Martin Angus Mangan, DO

Dr. Martin Mangan is a board-certified Family Physician at Rexburg Medical Center and an Emergency Medicine provider at Madison Health. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. He completed his Family Medicine residency at Idaho State University. He is pursuing an MBA at ISU to enhance his leadership and clinical impact further.

Since beginning practice in 2010, Dr. Mangan has cultivated a broad clinical skillset with a primary focus on both Primary Care and Emergency Medicine. He also served for eight years as Deputy Medical Director for the Idaho National Laboratory, where he diversified his expertise in Occupational Medicine and Emergency Preparedness, contributing to the safety and well-being of a high-risk workforce.

Before medical school, Dr. Mangan worked for seven years as a Critical Care Paramedic with Portneuf Life Flight and Madison County Ambulance, deepening his frontline emergency experience.

Having called Rexburg home since 1986, Dr. Mangan is proud to care for his community. He is a dedicated father of four—three boys and one girl—and enjoys snowmobiling and fishing in Idaho’s beautiful outdoors.
