As a Nurse Practitioner, my clinical experience spans family practice and urgent care settings, allowing me to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care across the lifespan. I focus on preventive health, chronic disease management, and building long-term relationships with patients in family practice. In urgent care, I address acute medical needs, perform procedures, and manage a fast-paced environment that requires quick decision-making and adaptability. This dual experience has strengthened my clinical judgment, broadened my skill set, and deepened my commitment to delivering high-quality, accessible healthcare.
My philosophy of care centers on providing holistic, comprehensive care that addresses physical health and each patient’s emotional, mental, and social well-being. I believe in treating the whole person, not just the symptoms, and strive to create a supportive and respectful environment where patients feel heard and empowered. By building strong therapeutic relationships, promoting preventive care, and considering each individual’s unique circumstances, I aim to foster long-term wellness and help patients achieve their healthiest, most balanced lives.
I grew up in Eastern Idaho and graduated from Madison High School, where I developed a deep appreciation for the close-knit community and outdoor lifestyle the region offers. I began my nursing journey at Idaho State University, earning my degree as a Registered Nurse, and later advanced my education by graduating from Walden University as a Nurse Practitioner. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending quality time with my family—especially hiking, exploring Yellowstone National Park, duck hunting, and cheering on my kids at their sporting events. These activities keep me grounded and connected to the values shaping my personal and professional life.
