Suzanne Wilbrecht has spent her life exploring and is using her personal and career experiences to be a supportive partner for women during pregnancy, birth, and throughout their lifespan. She understands how important it is that women feel comfortable with the practitioner caring for them, and knows that a compassionate and knowledgeable provider contributes significantly to these powerful moments in a woman’s life. Suzanne is committed to the service of women and their families and finds profound joy in guiding natural processes and supporting women in the birthing experience of their choice. Suzanne knows that every woman, pregnancy, and labor are different and no single approach works for everyone so she prides herself in individualized care. She is committed to continuing her education in advancing evidence-based practice.

Suzanne received her B.A. in Geology at The Colorado College in 2002 where she was a recipient of the Patricia J. Buster award for independent student research. She received her A.A.S. in Nursing from Central Wyoming College in 2014 and was honored with the Academic Excellence Award and membership in the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. She was awarded an M.S. in Nursing from George Washington University and a post-master’s certificate in Nurse-Midwifery from Shenandoah University in 2020 where she was nominated to the Golden Key International Honor Society and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society.

Suzanne is a member of the American College of Nurse-Midwives and is experienced in both low and high-risk pregnancies, gynecological care, contraceptive management, preconception care, prenatal care, labor and delivery, and postpartum care.

Suzanne has spent the last 23 years in the Rocky Mountain West. She is married with two young children and enjoys camping and exploring the woods with her family, hiking and trail running with their dogs, riding her horses, skiing, and gardening during the short mountain summers.
