WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR CHILD’S FIRST YEAR OF LIFE

During the first year of a child’s life parents will visit with their pediatrician more frequently than at other times. An infant’s first exam will happen shortly after they are born, with monthly visits up until the child’s first birthday. The frequency of visits may change based on a child’s individual health needs.
