Madison has started a new, great program! Club Ortho gives patients a smoother program for those scheduled to have hip, knee, or shoulder surgery. It is designed to make each patient’s entire surgical experience a seamless and problem free.

Surgery works with Case Management who works with Physical Therapy who all work with the Doctors to ensure that our orthopedic patients have a highly collaborated and optimally cared for experience. Programs like this are often seen in larger metropolitan hospitals, but rarely in one of our size.  This program guides the patient from the decision to have surgery all the way through recovery and return to optimum health. The first class was held last Monday (1/26/2015) and was very well received.

When you see them, give Case Management a “way to go” pat on the back. Programs like this will make for happier, healthier patients at Madison Memorial Hospital.
